MAYOR'S REPORT:
Mayor Keifer came from the Township Meeting. A Committee of the Whole needs to
be set up with the Trustees. She will go to them with April 14th or May 12th as
possible dates.
ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT:
The Administrator gave his report - a copy will be attached.
Building insurance was renewed as through the Ohio Plan as approved at the last meeting. We did get our $300.00 premium credit.
Looking at tube infra-red heating to be installed in the new maintenance building. Approximately $2400.00 with Village employees doing the installation. The cost to heat the whole building shouldn't be much more than the cost to run block heaters that we are doing now. Council agreed to have Hoffman pursue it further.
SHERIFF'S REPORT:
Deputy Swope from the Sheriff's office gave the monthly stats to the Mayor.
The Mayor encouraged Council to let residents know to call 832-2424 and 832-2165 numbers immediately when something happens in the Village.
READING OF COMMUNICATIONS:
Mayor Keifer shared letters from Suburban Natural Gas, Tim Brown, and Toledo
NW Ohio Food Bank.
Mayor Keifer read a letter from Bob Latta inviting all elected officials to an informal meeting on Thursday Feb 18 from 4-5 pm at the Commissioners Hearing room regarding federal government issues that are of concern.
March 11th is the Wood County Health Districts meeting at the Wood County Health Department.
Discussed the Chamber's Application for Use of Public Property for the Community Easter Egg Hunt.
The Mayor received a call regarding the ripped flag in the park. Chad removed it and John Schlotz is going to try to find a replacement.
Mayor Keifer passed out preliminary information from Chet Vollmar regarding the Rapids Rally Car Show.
