A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE ADMINISTRATOR TO FILE AN APPLICATION WITH THE OHIO DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE THROUGH THE RECREATIONAL TRAILS PROGRAM AND/OR THE CLEAN OHIO TRAILS FUNDS.

WHEREAS, the State of Ohio, through the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, administers financial assistance for public recreation purposes, through Recreational Trails Program (RTP) and/or the Clean Ohio Trails Fund (COTF);

WHEREAS, the Village of Grand Rapids desires financial assistance under the Recreational Trails Program and/or the Clean Trails Fund Program.

NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Village Council as follows:

1) That the Village of Grand Rapids approves filing an application for RTP and/or COTF financial assistance;

2) That the Village Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to execute and file an application with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources and to provide all information and documentation required to become eligible for possible funding assistance.

That the Village of Grand Rapids does agree to obligate the funds required to satisfactorily complete the proposed project and become eligible for reimbursement under the terms and conditions of the RTP and/or COTF Program.
