AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE ADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE A MASTER AGREEMENT FOR SERVICES BY FIRST ENERGY SOLUTIONS CORPORATION TO PROVIDE ENERGY AND ENERGY-RELATED SERVICES THROUGH GOVERNMENT AGGREGATION

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF GRAND RAPIDS, COUNTY OF WOOD, STATE OF OHIO:

SECTION 1: That the Village Administrator is authorized to execute a master agreement for services by First Energy Solutions Corporation to provide energy and energy-related services through government aggregation.

Section 2: This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety, convenience and welfare of the Village Grand Rapids and the inhabitants thereof, for the further reason that this Ordinance is required to be immediately effective in order to maximize the potential benefits of the aggregation program for the electricity consumers in the Village, and , shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval; otherwise to be in full force and effect from and after the earliest period allowed by law.
